Mike’s cycle ride from Land’s End to John O’Groats (LEJOG)

When Mike sets off on his bicycle from Land’s End on September 19th 2010, heading for John O’Groats, he’ll have mountains on his mind—not the ones he’ll have to climb to reach his destination in Scotland, but the Atlas Mountains in Morocco and the people who live among them.

Mike is making his big bike ride to raise money for Education For All and you can find out more about this on Mike’s cycle ride page.

You will also be able to follow Mike’s progress on Twitter at http://twitter.com/mikekasbah/

Anima (Young Singers from Greater Chicago) visit Dar Asni

Anima's mission is to provide experiences of excellence through choral singing that enliven and shape young lives.

This is what they said about their recent tour of Morocco:
"We will never forget our visits to Education for All, an organisation promoting further education for girls in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains, the Atfalouna Centre which works with street kids in Marrakech and the Sidi Moumen Idmaj Charity in the slums of Casablanca. We remember with great admiration the many inspiring people we met during our journey. Those who devote their lives working tirelessly to provide a better future for the young people in their care."

More information about Anima can be found on their website: www.animasingers.org
